Ryan Le
Ryan met Sam in college ministry at New Life Fellowship and was Sam's roommate in college. Ryan and Sam have lived in the same apartment complexes, been in the same house churches, served in the same ministries and been close friends since they met in 2007.
Howard Shao-Bo Li
Howard (Shao-Bo) met Sam when they were sorted into the same (best) college at Rice. During Senior year, they both got closer as the only seniors who couldn't seem to get any job offers. They now bond over board games, Dave and Busters, and good food and travel.
Eric Lee
Eric met Sam in house church in college where Eric would ask many questions, and they got closer after Eric and Sam would have long conversations about the gospel, life, and love. Eric stayed with Sam for a few months after college, and they try to visit/talk with each other as much as possible.

Daniel Park
Daniel and Sam met at a youth family event, even though they had heard of each other from many other people already. Over the past few years, they've gotten closer through serving in youth ministry, and their love of Dallas Cowboys football, Star Wars, and other random things.
Kenneth
Kim
Kenneth was Sam's first house church shepherd, and after some growing pains, they both got much closer. Sam was in Kenneth's House Church until 2016, after having him as his leader for 5 years. Kenneth and his wife Yookyung were mentors to Sam and Jieun during Premarital counseling.
Jay Yao
Jay and Sam met in college, and got much closer after teaching 6th and 7th grade youth group kids together. After Jay went to Southwestern Med School in Dallas, Sam would stop by whenever he would go home to DFW- and Jay eventually went to Sam's home church.
